Even though we haven't been able to be the champion, I believe that Indonesian people are still proud of all of your struggles, and have hope for further achievements in the years to come," said Puan.
Indonesia is one of the countries that has never won the AFF Cup, still below Thailand which has won 6 times. Puan also encourages and hopes that PSSI will continue to nurture young players to improve the quality of the national football league competition as a source of recruitment for TIMNAS players.
